From July 9 to 11, VIDIFI's working delegation led by comrade Bui Van Thong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors and comrade Tran Anh Tu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director, along with a number of directors of departments and units, joined the delegation of the Vietnam Development Bank to make the journey back to the source in the provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri.

During the three-day journey, the delegation respectfully laid wreaths and offered incense at many typical historical and revolutionary sites such as: Truong Bon Historical Relic Area (Nghe An), Dong Loc Junction Historical Relic Area (Ha Tinh), General Vo Nguyen Giap's Grave Site, Road 9 National Martyrs Cemetery, Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery, Tam Co Cave Relic Area, Flower Drop Wharf and Special National Relics of Quang Tri Citadel.

In particular, at the Flower Drop Wharf on the North bank of Thach Han River, members of the delegation respectfully offered incense, dropped memorial flowers and planted souvenir trees, expressing gratitude to the nation's outstanding sons and daughters who heroically sacrificed their lives in the heroic land of Quang Tri.

Each stop is not only a place to commemorate fallen heroes, but also an opportunity for VIDIFI officials, party members, and workers to review the nation's glorious historical traditions, fostering the spirit of patriotism, the will to contribute and responsibility for the cause of national construction and development.

Continuing the series of gratitude activities, on July 17, VIDIFI's working delegation led by comrade Tran Anh Tu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, and General Director held an incense offering ceremony at the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery and the Temple of Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front at high point 468.

Joining the delegation were comrade Pham Viet Son - Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy General Director, Chairman of VIDIFI Trade Union; Comrade Pham Quang Huy - Member of the Party Executive Committee, Member of the Board of Directors; along with comrades in the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Board of General Directors, Advisors, representatives of party committees, Leaders of the Board of Directors Office, leaders of units under the Corporation, leaders of Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway Management and Operation Company, VIDIFI Road Construction and Maintenance Enterprise, VDF Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, National Highway 5 Toll Station, Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway Toll Station, representatives The Trade Union Executive Committee, VIDIFI Youth Union, comrades and members of Party cells, comrades with achievements in Party competitions, and VIDIFI Veterans.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered flowers, offered incense, and spent a moment of silence to commemorate the fallen heroes at the central memorial of Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery; Burn incense at each martyr's grave, expressing infinite gratitude for the great sacrifices of previous generations for the independence and freedom of the nation.

The delegation was also introduced to the extremely heroic fighting years of the soldiers on the Vi Xuyen front - which is considered the fiercest battlefield in the fight to protect the northern border of the Fatherland. Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery is currently the resting place of nearly 2,000 martyrs. The Temple of Martyrs at high point 468 was built on one of the strategic high points, a place marking the heroic sacrifices of thousands of officers and soldiers with the indomitable spirit of "Living by the rock to fight the enemy, death will turn into immortal stone", determined to protect every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland.

At the Temple of Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front at high point 468, comrade Tran Anh Tu and members of the delegation performed the ritual of ringing bells, offering incense, offering flowers and spending a minute of silence, vowing to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, innovation, and building VIDIFI Corporation to develop more and more sustainably, contributing to the country's socio-economic development.

Activities to return resources and pay tribute to fallen heroes and martyrs are organized annually by VIDIFI on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day. This is an opportunity for officials, party members and workers of VIDIFI Corporation to express gratitude to previous generations, review revolutionary traditions and appreciate more the values ​​of peace and independence today.
