During the historic days of April, the whole country joyfully celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and unification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), when the staff and employees had a holiday for 5 days (from April 30, 2025 to the end of May 4, 2025), the staff of the Infrastructure Development and Investment Corporation Vietnam Finance Company (VIDIFI) is still working hard on key roads. With a sense of responsibility and dedication, they quietly worked throughout the holidays to ensure safety and smooth flow for hundreds of thousands of vehicles traveling on the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, National Highway 5 and the North - South expressway section (Km 351-405). These tireless efforts not only keep traffic clear but also bring safe journeys for people during this special holiday.

In order to meet the increased travel demand on the holidays of April 30 and May 1, VIDIFI has deployed many synchronous solutions. From reviewing and completing the repair of damages on roads before the holiday to dividing lanes, regulating traffic, guiding vehicles through toll stations, closely coordinating with the Traffic Police force and local authorities,... all stages are implemented promptly and in smooth coordination. The hotline operates 24/7, ready to receive feedback and promptly handle any problems with infrastructure or the electronic toll collection system. On media channels and at toll stations, messages celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, reunification of the country, and propaganda about traffic safety were spread, contributing to the general joy of the whole country and raising people's awareness.

On the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway, on average there are more than 93.8 thousand vehicles passing each day, especially on April 30, which recorded the highest revenue ever - 13,428 billion VND with more than 108 thousand vehicles. Despite heavy traffic, the route still operates stably, with no congestion or serious incidents. This achievement comes from the careful preparation of Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway Management and Operation Company Limited.

24/7 shifts, patrols to detect and fix damage, and smooth coordination with relevant units have kept the vehicle flow flowing smoothly and safely. Besides, there are toll collection staff, who are always on duty 24/7 under the pressure of crowded traffic. They work continuously and diligently to maintain the electronic toll collection system to operate smoothly, promptly supporting vehicles with card or payment problems so that vehicles can move through toll stations quickly and safely. The smiles and dedication of the staff here, despite being tired after long shifts, have contributed to creating a friendly and safe traffic experience.

On National Highway 5, the work is no less difficult, clearly demonstrating the dedicated spirit of VIDIFI staff. Implementing the direction of the Vietnam Road Administration in Document No. 1049/CDBVN-TCGT dated April 22, 2025 on ensuring traffic order and safety during the holidays April 30 and May 1, along with Plan 796/KH-UBND and Document No. 1997/UBND-VP dated April 24, 2025 of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee on building National Highway 5 into a route safe. National Highway 5 Maintenance and Operation Management Board (KTQL5 Management Board) and VIDIFI Road Construction and Maintenance Enterprise took advantage of every day off to simultaneously deploy important and urgent items to ensure traffic safety, especially implementing the action program "ensuring traffic safety on National Highway 5".

From early morning to late afternoon, groups of workers carry out the work of scraping rutted tracks, repainting road markings, adding light poles, closing dangerous railway openings and clearing violation corridors. Overpasses are decorated with propaganda slogans, as a reminder of traffic awareness. In particular, the maintenance and upkeep of National Highway 5 is not only focused on this holiday season but has been implemented by VIDIFI since 2016 and will continue to be implemented in the coming time with the goal of ensuring traffic safety on the route as a top task. Thanks to perseverance and persistent efforts over many years, National Highway 5 always maintains smooth traffic and stable operation of toll stations, contributing to a safe and airy holiday season.

On the North - South Expressway (Km 351-405), despite having to work in hot weather conditions in early summer, sometimes with heavy rain, the officers and workers of the Maintenance Enterprise and the Executive Board still maintain management and maintenance work on the North - South Expressway section from Km 351 - Km 405. Every job, no matter how small, is done with dedication, ensuring smooth traffic and safety for people.
